The Sims Unleashed is a game published by Aspyr for the Apple Macintosh. Part of the Sims Complete Collection compilation.
As fans of The Sims know, there has always been something missing from their virtual neighbourhoods... pets! In The Sims Unleashed, players can now add furry friends to their Sims' families. Teach Fido some cool tricks or hire an efficient Pet Trainer to do all of the work. Let your kitties and canines strut their stuff in the local Pet Show.
Visit a pet store and bring home a variety of creatures, from dogs to lizards, your choices are endless. To make room for these furry additions, the Sims community will be equipped with bigger neighbourhoods. Forty all-new residential and community lots featuring new homes, lush parks, a hip new cafˇ, cool shops and a farmer's market are available for Sims to explore. Visit the local garden store and grow a variety of vegetables in their own garden plots.
Time for a career change? Send your Sims down five new career tracks with 50 new jobs. Enter the world of fashion, take care of the neighbourhood's pets, or run away and join the circus. With 125 new objects, redecorate your Sims' home for the new pet's arrival. Are you ready?
Features:
- Pets: Visit the pet store and bring home a dog or a cat for your Sims. Or buy a giant parrot, turtle, lizard or fish, which provide fun for your family but without needing to be housebroken.
- Bigger neighbourhoods: The Sims Unleashed gives players an expanded neighbourhood with 30 additional residential lots and five local community lots that feature parks, a new cafe, shops and a market. Walk your dog at the park or bring your cat to the cafe and build relationships with your neighbours through your love for pets.
- New Characters: Hire an amazing Pet Trainer to prepare your pet for the local pet show. Impress the Pet Judge in order to earn ribbons for obedience, tricks and good pet mood. There are even new animal characters, like Fifi the flirtatious French Poodle and Spike the bullying Bull Dog, for your pets to meet, too.
- Five new careers: Send your Sims down five new career tracks with 50 new jobs. Enter the world of fashion, become a world famous chef, take care of the neighbourhood's pets as a veterinarian, educate our future Sims or run away and join the circus.
- Gardening: Sims can now grow a variety of vegetables in their own garden plots using seeds purchased at the local garden store. Proper care of the garden will yield a crop that can be picked and stored in the new pantry. Hardworking families can now live off the land, or make a living by selling their home-grown vegetables at the market. Use your pets to help chase off the rabbits and gophers.
- 125 new objects: Redecorate your Sims' home for the new pet's arrival. The Sims Unleashed contains dozens of new objects for pets and people plus an all-new decorator set with a New Orleans French Quarter theme.
